Proprietary Software License

This software, including its source code, object code, compiled binaries, user interface, design, text, graphics, documentation, branding, icons, logos, concepts, features, workflows, and all related materials, is the proprietary property of Hugo Monteiro and/or Younity Studios.

This software is protected by copyright laws, intellectual property laws, and applicable international treaties.

1. Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with this License, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Strip and Share solely for personal or internal use through an authorized distribution channel, such as Google Play, Apple App Store, or another distribution method expressly approved by the copyright holder.

No ownership rights are transferred to you under this License.

2. Restrictions

You may not, without prior express written authorization from Hugo Monteiro or Younity Studios:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise make the software available to any third party.
Modify, adapt, translate, merge, alter, or create derivative works based on the software.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, inspect, extract, or attempt to derive the source code, architecture, algorithms, or internal logic of the software, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Use the software, its design, user interface, workflows, name, branding, icons, or concepts to create a competing or substantially similar product or service.
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, proprietary, or attribution notices included in the software.
Use the software for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
Circumvent, disable, interfere with, or attempt to bypass any licensing, payment, access control, security, or feature-limiting mechanisms.
Use automated systems, scraping tools, or other methods to extract, analyze, or replicate the software’s functionality, design, or behaviour.
Publish or disclose performance tests, security analysis, vulnerability research, or benchmarking results related to the software without prior written permission, except where such disclosure is protected by applicable law.

3. Pro Version and Paid Features

Certain features may be available only through a paid version, one-time purchase, subscription, license key, or other authorized payment method.

You may not access, unlock, enable, share, transfer, or distribute paid features except through an authorized purchase or license granted by the copyright holder or an approved app store provider.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the software remain exclusively with Hugo Monteiro and/or Younity Studios.

The names Strip and Share and Younity Studios, together with associated logos, icons, visual identity, product names, slogans, and branding, may not be used without prior express written authorization.

Nothing in this License grants you any rights to use the trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos, or branding of Hugo Monteiro or Younity Studios.

5. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback relating to the software, you grant Hugo Monteiro and Younity Studios a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, implement, publish, and commercialize that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

6. Third-Party Components

The software may include or interact with third-party software, libraries, frameworks, platforms, operating systems, or services.

Any third-party components are subject to their respective licenses and terms. This License does not grant you rights to any third-party materials except as permitted by their applicable licenses.

7. Privacy

Use of the software may be subject to a separate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the software handles data, including links shared with or processed by the app.

In the event of a conflict between this License and the Privacy Policy concerning privacy or data handling, the Privacy Policy shall control for privacy-related matters.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Monteiro and Younity Studios disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and error-free operation.

The software is intended to help remove known tracking and sharing parameters from URLs, but no guarantee is made that every tracking parameter, identifier, referral token, or privacy-invasive element will be detected or removed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Monteiro and Younity Studios shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or other damages arising out of or relating to the software or this License.

This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device issues, sharing errors, incorrect URL processing, or reliance on cleaned links.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hugo Monteiro and Younity Studios from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to:

Your use or misuse of the software.
Your breach of this License.
Your violation of applicable law.
Your infringement or violation of any third-party rights.

13. Export and Legal Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the software, including export control laws, consumer protection laws, privacy laws, and intellectual property laws.

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer the software in violation of applicable law.

14. Governing Law

This License shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Portugal, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Any disputes arising from or relating to this License shall be subject to the competent courts of Portugal, unless applicable law requires another jurisdiction.

15. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of this License shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

16. Severability

If any provision of this License is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

This License constitutes the entire agreement between you and the copyright holder regarding the software and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, or communications relating to the software.
