Privacy Policy — Strip And Share

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Strip and Share, a mobile application for Android and iOS developed and made available by Hugo Monteiro under the brand/trade name Younity Studios.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Strip and Share, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Strip and Share is a privacy-focused utility that helps users clean URLs by removing known tracking, advertising, referral, analytics, and social sharing parameters before sharing the cleaned link.

The app may allow you to share a URL or text containing a URL to the app, paste a link manually, remove known tracking and sharing parameters, preserve useful URL parameters where possible, and share the cleaned URL through your device’s native share sheet.

Strip and Share does not guarantee that every tracking, referral, analytics, advertising, or sharing parameter will be detected or removed.

2. Free, Pro, and Devel versions

Strip and Share may be offered in Free, Pro, and Devel versions.

The Free version may require manual cleaning and manual sharing of cleaned URLs.

The Pro version may include automatic cleaning and automatic opening of the operating system share sheet.

The Devel version is intended for development or testing and may include Pro behavior for a limited period after its build date.

Features may vary between Android and iOS due to operating system limitations, app store requirements, device settings, permissions, and platform-specific restrictions.

3. Purchases, payments, and app stores

Paid features may be purchased through Google Play, Apple App Store, or another authorised app store or distribution platform.

Payments, billing, taxes, invoices, refunds, purchase confirmation, and purchase management may be handled by the relevant app store provider under its own terms and policies.

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios does not receive or store your full payment card details.

If you purchased the app or Pro features through an app store, refund requests should usually be submitted through the same app store where the purchase was made, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

4. EU and Portuguese consumer rights

If you are a consumer located in Portugal, the European Union, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory legal rights.

EU and Portuguese consumer protection rules may give you rights regarding digital content or digital services, including rights where paid digital content or services are defective, not as described, not supplied as agreed, or not in conformity with the contract.

Depending on your country, the type of purchase, and the applicable app store process, you may also have a right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days.

For digital content or digital services, the right of withdrawal may be affected where performance begins with your prior consent and acknowledgement, or where the applicable app store terms and mandatory law provide otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Strip and Share only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the app to violate laws or regulations, interfere with third-party services, misrepresent the origin or safety of links, distribute harmful or unlawful content, or damage, disable, overburden, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app, except where allowed by mandatory law.

You are responsible for the links you clean and share using the app.

6. Third-party links and services

Strip and Share processes links that may point to third-party websites, apps, services, or content.

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios does not control third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, availability, security, accuracy, legality, or terms.

When you share a cleaned link to another app or service using the native share sheet, your use of that third-party app or service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

7. URL cleaning accuracy

Strip and Share is provided as a utility to assist with removing known tracking and sharing parameters.

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios does not guarantee that every tracking parameter will be removed, every useful parameter will be preserved, a cleaned URL will always behave exactly like the original URL, a cleaned URL will always open correctly, or a website will not track you through other means.

Some websites require certain URL parameters for login, referrals, language, product selection, campaign routing, checkout, affiliate attribution, or other functionality. Removing parameters may cause a link to stop working, show different content, or remove referral or attribution information.

You should review cleaned links before sharing them.

8. Privacy and data protection

The app is designed to process links locally on your device where possible and to avoid unnecessary data collection.

If personal data is processed, it will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation, where applicable.

By using Strip and Share, you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property and copyright

Strip and Share, including its name, design, software, source code, user interface, features, text, graphics, logos, documentation, website content, and other related materials, is owned by Hugo Monteiro and/or licensed to Hugo Monteiro.

Younity Studios is used as a brand/trade name for publishing and presenting the app and related materials.

The app and related materials are protected by Portuguese, EU, and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own lawful personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and any applicable app store terms.

You do not acquire ownership of the app, the brand, the software, or any intellectual property rights in it.

No part of the app, source code, design, documentation, website content, branding, or related materials may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sublicensed, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission, except where expressly allowed by mandatory law or by a separate written licence.

10. Updates, availability, and changes

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app from time to time.

Updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal compliance, bug fixes, platform requirements, or feature improvements.

The app may be unavailable, interrupted, limited, changed, or discontinued due to device compatibility issues, operating system updates, app store restrictions, technical faults, maintenance, legal requirements, or events outside reasonable control.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strip and Share is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios does not promise that the app will remove all tracking technologies, prevent all forms of online tracking, improve your anonymity, or protect you from all privacy risks.

The app is a link-cleaning tool. It is not a complete privacy, security, anonymity, anti-tracking, or legal compliance solution.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Portuguese, EU, or other applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios is not liable for losses caused by third-party websites, apps, or services; links that do not work after cleaning; loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunity; indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; tracking or privacy practices used by third parties outside our control; or user decisions to share cleaned or original links.

If liability cannot be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the app or paid features, where such limitation is permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Strip and Share at any time and uninstall the app from your device.

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios may suspend or terminate access to the app or certain features if you breach these Terms, misuse the app, or if continued provision of the app becomes unlawful, technically impractical, or commercially unreasonable.

14. App store terms

Your use of Strip and Share may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the app store or platform from which you downloaded the app, including Google Play or Apple App Store.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory app store terms, the applicable app store terms may apply to the extent required.

If you are a consumer in Portugal or the European Union, you may also have access to official consumer complaint channels and alternative dispute resolution entities, where legally applicable.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in Portugal, the European Union, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you may have the right to bring claims in your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.

If you use the app as a business user, professional user, or on behalf of an organisation, disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Portugal, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these Terms

Hugo Monteiro / Younity Studios may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, the effective date above will be updated and, where appropriate, notice may be provided through the app, app store listing, or website.

Your continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
