These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Strip and Share, a mobile application for Android and iOS made available by Hugo Monteiro under the Younity Studios brand / trade name.
Strip and Share helps clean web links by removing known tracking, advertising, referral, analytics, and sharing parameters before you share them.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Strip and Share, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. About Strip and Share
Strip and Share is designed to help privacy-conscious users reduce unnecessary tracking in shared URLs.
The app can receive links from the operating system share feature, allow users to paste links manually, remove known tracking and sharing parameters, and share the cleaned result using the native Android or iOS share sheet.
Depending on the version, Strip and Share may support manual cleaning, automatic cleaning, or automatic opening of the share sheet.
2. Publisher Information
Strip and Share is created and made available by Hugo Monteiro, using Younity Studios as a brand / trade name.
Younity Studios is not represented as a separate incorporated legal entity unless expressly stated otherwise. References to “Younity Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to Hugo Monteiro operating under the Younity Studios brand / trade name, unless a different legal entity is identified in the future.

3. European Union and Portugal
Strip and Share is created and made available from Portugal, European Union.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable European Union law, Portuguese consumer law, or the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, those rights continue to apply where required by law.
4. Eligibility
You may use Strip and Share only if you are legally able to enter into these Terms under the laws of your country or region.
If you use the app on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
5. Free, Pro, and Devel Versions
Strip and Share may be offered in Free, Pro, and Devel versions.
The Free version may require you to manually clean and manually share links.
The Pro version may include automatic link cleaning, automatic opening of the share sheet, and faster sharing flows.
The Devel version is intended for development or testing and may include Pro behavior for a limited period after its build date.
Pro features may be offered as a one-time purchase, subscription, or other paid option, depending on the app store listing. The available price, features, and payment terms will be shown before purchase.
6. Payments, Refunds, and App Store Terms
Purchases are processed by the relevant app store provider, such as Google Play or Apple App Store.
We do not directly process your payment card information. Payment processing, billing, invoices, taxes, refunds, cancellations, purchase management, family sharing, and withdrawal procedures may be handled by the app store where you downloaded the app.
Your purchase may also be subject to the terms, refund rules, and consumer procedures of the relevant app store.
If you are located in the European Union or another region that provides statutory withdrawal rights for digital content or digital services, those rights apply as required by law. However, when you purchase digital content or app features through an app store, the app store may ask you to consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal right may be affected once performance begins.
This does not affect any rights you may have if the app or paid digital content is defective, unavailable, not as described, or does not perform as required by applicable consumer law.
7. EU and Portuguese Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in Portugal or the European Union, you may have mandatory rights relating to digital content and digital services.
These rights may include remedies where digital content or digital services are not in conformity with the contract, are defective, are not as described, or do not perform as expected under applicable law.
Where legally required, remedies may include bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity, a price reduction, or termination of the contract.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights under Portuguese law, including applicable rules implementing European Union consumer protection law.
8. Consumer Complaints and Alternative Dispute Resolution
Where legally applicable, consumers in Portugal may use the official Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book to submit a complaint.
The Electronic Complaints Book is not, by itself, an alternative dispute resolution mechanism. If you believe you have been harmed and wish to resolve a consumer dispute, you may also contact an authorised Consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution entity.

9. Permitted Use
You may use Strip and Share for lawful personal or business purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the app for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the app except where permitted by law
- Use the app to interfere with websites, apps, networks, or third-party services
- Misrepresent cleaned links or use them to deceive others
- Remove, alter, or obscure copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
- Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights
10. Link Cleaning Limitations
Strip and Share attempts to remove known tracking and sharing parameters from URLs while preserving useful URL parameters where possible.
However, we do not guarantee that:
- Every tracking parameter will be detected or removed
- Every cleaned link will remain functional
- The app will identify all forms of tracking
- The app will prevent tracking by websites, browsers, apps, platforms, or third parties
- The app will remove tracking embedded in the path, domain, short link, server-side redirect, page content, cookies, browser fingerprinting, account login, or destination website itself
Some websites may require certain URL parameters to function correctly. Removing parameters may occasionally cause a link to break, change content, remove referral information, affect attribution, or alter the destination experience.
You are responsible for reviewing cleaned links before sharing them.
11. Third-Party Websites and Apps
Strip and Share works with links that may lead to third-party websites, apps, or services.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, services, content, policies, tracking methods, security, availability, or data processing practices.
When you share a cleaned link using the native share sheet, the selected third-party app or service is responsible for how it handles that link and any related data.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.

By using Strip and Share, you also acknowledge the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
13. App Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Strip and Share at any time.
We may add, remove, or change features, including free and Pro features, where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance, technical reasons, or product improvement.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system version, website, app, or URL format.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide updates, including security or compatibility updates, for the period and in the manner required by law.
14. Updates
You may need to install updates to continue using Strip and Share or to access certain features.
Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, security enhancements, updated tracking-parameter rules, or changes to app functionality.
If you do not install updates, some features may not work correctly.
15. Intellectual Property and Licence
Strip and Share, including its design, code, name, branding, features, interface, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Hugo Monteiro and/or applicable licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Younity Studios is used as a brand / trade name. It may not be copied, reused, registered, imitated, or represented as your own brand, product name, service name, or business identity without explicit written permission.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store rules.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the app, except where this is expressly permitted by applicable law.
You do not acquire ownership of the app, the Younity Studios brand, the Strip and Share name, or any related intellectual property rights.

16. User Content and Links
You remain responsible for the links, text, and content you choose to process or share using Strip and Share.
You confirm that you have the right to use and share any link or content you provide to the app.
We do not claim ownership of links or text you process through the app.
17. No Professional Advice
Strip and Share is provided as a utility tool. It does not provide legal, privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, marketing, or technical advice.
You should not rely on the app as your only privacy, security, or compliance measure.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strip and Share is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
We disclaim all warranties that may be excluded under applicable law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, and compatibility.
We do not guarantee that the app will remove all tracking, prevent all forms of tracking, or produce error-free cleaned links.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any statutory rights or legal guarantees that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights in Portugal and the European Union.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, device issues, broken links, missed attribution, or problems caused by third-party websites or apps.
Our total liability for any claim related to Strip and Share will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or Pro features in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies under applicable law.
20. Termination
You may stop using Strip and Share at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create legal risk, or use the app in a harmful or unlawful way.
After termination, the parts of these Terms that should reasonably continue to apply will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law provisions.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app, app store listing, or our website.
Your continued use of Strip and Share after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, you may also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
23. Jurisdiction
Any disputes relating to these Terms or Strip and Share will be handled by the competent courts of Portugal, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in another country or before another competent authority.
24. Alternative Dispute Resolution
If you are a consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, you may have the right to use an authorised Consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution entity.
Where applicable, consumer disputes may be handled through mediation, conciliation, or arbitration by a competent consumer dispute resolution body.
